We understand that the 7 day lockdown period will be challenging for many South Australians, particularly the most vulnerable in our community.
As an essential service, the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers remains our top priority.
We continue to be focused on creating safe and well-managed stores to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. We will maintain our health and hygiene measures through;
- In-store social distancing markers;
- Trained COVID Marshals;
- A dedicated hygiene team regularly cleaning and sanitising common areas and surfaces including trollies;
- Protective checkout screens;
- Complimentary masks, hand-sanitiser, trolley wipes and gloves.
As per government advice, we ask that all our customers wear face masks while shopping with us (we’ll also be providing complimentary masks) and please check-in upon entry.
We have now redeployed hospitality staff to our Hygiene Team, Online Team, and Shop Assist where team members in red shirts will be assisting customers in many ways such as packing at our checkouts, providing social distancing support, and helping to enhance your shopping experience.
We will continue to strengthen our long-standing relationships and work closely every day with our suppliers to keep things flowing as normal through this period with plenty of stock available in our stores.
Finally, we ask everyone in the community to comply with the COVID-safe measures in place and to please respect our frontline staff who are working and doing their best in difficult circumstances.
