As one of the few remaining supermarkets proactively supporting and developing trades like butchers, bakers, florists and fishmongers, these personal services also help our community become part of the solution to plastic pollution – a cause we’re endorsing this month during Plastic Free July with our key sustainability partner KESAB.
All you need to do is bring in your own clean container, hand it to the staff member in the relevant area, and they will weigh, fill and label it for you. Our staff are also able to help you order only as much as you need so you can minimise food waste and control your budget.
We’ve also just reintroduced the option to have all your shopping packed into cardboard boxes. Simply mention it to your friendly checkout operator who will be happy to assist!
