Hokkien Noodles with Wagyu Rump!

Try creating this delicious Beef Hokkien Noodles Recipe at home featuring this week’s amazing catalogue specials!

Serves 4 and is ready in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 1kg Tong Phat Hokkien noodles
  • 1 kg Adelaide’s Finest Wagyu Rump Steak
  • 1 tablespoon LKK dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 bunch of bok choy
  • 4 spring onions
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 brown onion
  • Olive oil
  • Chilli flakes
  • Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Method:

  1. Cut the wagyu rump steak into long strips and marinate with dark soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, pepper, corn flour, and garlic powder. Set aside and prepare the vegetables.
  2. Chop garlic, onion, spring onions, and bok choy. Reserve a handful of green spring onion ends.
  3. In a hot pan, fry the marinated steak 2 mins each side until caramelised, then set aside.
  4. Stir-fry the vegetables for 5 minutes, then add them to the Hokkien noodles. Mix in dark soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and chilli flakes.
  5. Cook for 1 minute until the sauce is well combined with the noodles. Add the cooked steak and green spring onion ends.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional) and serve!
