Ingredients:
- 1kg Tong Phat Hokkien noodles
- 1 kg Adelaide’s Finest Wagyu Rump Steak
- 1 tablespoon LKK dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 bunch of bok choy
- 4 spring onions
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 brown onion
- Olive oil
- Chilli flakes
- Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Method:
- Cut the wagyu rump steak into long strips and marinate with dark soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, pepper, corn flour, and garlic powder. Set aside and prepare the vegetables.
- Chop garlic, onion, spring onions, and bok choy. Reserve a handful of green spring onion ends.
- In a hot pan, fry the marinated steak 2 mins each side until caramelised, then set aside.
- Stir-fry the vegetables for 5 minutes, then add them to the Hokkien noodles. Mix in dark soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and chilli flakes.
- Cook for 1 minute until the sauce is well combined with the noodles. Add the cooked steak and green spring onion ends.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional) and serve!
