Junior Chefs On Wheels Now At Adelaide’s Finest

Adelaide’s Finest’s fridges are full of ready-to-eat meals for adults (including our own housemade dishes)  but a creative foodie family is now making nourishing, chef-made, ready meals for kids.

We now stock Junior Chefs On Wheels meals designed for kids which are made by respected chef Paul Baker and his wife Annabelle (a recipe developer/food stylist) with chief taste tester, daughter Margot.

The meals , all made locally at Glynde with SA ingredients,  are a perfect solution for tired, hangry kids and are devised by award-winning chef Paul and a qualified nutritionist.

The father-and-daughter team of Paul and Margot offered tastings of Junior Chefs On Wheels at Frewville last week and the duo will be at our Pasadena store for tastings from 11.30am-1.30pm on Saturday, June 10.

Junior Chefs On Wheels meals, a spinoff from the highly successful Chefs on Wheels meal delivery service for adults, are all available in the freezer sections at Frewville and Pasadena.   Best sellers include junior pumpkin mac and cheese, loaded veg spaghetti Bolognese,  butter chicken and rice or sweet potato and lentil dhal, among other dishes.

The trays are microwave and oven safe and made from 80% post-consumer recycled plastic, and are fully recyclable. There’s a neat community angle to the business, too. Every time someone buys a meal from the Junior Chefs on Wheels range,  the business provides one meal to a vulnerable new mums who are struggling. It is a collab between Junior Chefs On Wheels and The Village Co.
