Mitchell’s Grilled T-bone With Za’atar

Serves :4

Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

4 T-Bone steaks (1kg family pack)

40g Spice & Co Za’atar Spicebar

30ml Mr Nick’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt and pepper to taste


Method:

1. Always bring your steak to room temperature. Ensuring that the steak is the same temperature throughout helps it to cook evenly.

2. Season your T-bone steak with sea salt, ground black pepper, za’atar and a drizzle of olive oil oil.

3. Heat a cast iron skillet or fry pan until it is smoking hot.

4. Add steak to pan and cook for 3 mins

5. Once the steak starts to get a crust, flip it over and cook a further 3 mins

6.Rest for 5 mins and slice to serve
