Baked Adelaide Hills Brie Tartlet
200g Adelaide Hills double brie (Udder Delights)
1 Med free range egg
120ml Thickened cream
1 Packet Confiletas Pastry Cases – Natural Rustic Tartlet (6)
5g Nutmeg ground
280g Beerenberg caramelized onion (Optional)
Preheat oven to 170°C
Trim off the rind from the brie and cut to small fine pieces.
Place brie in a blender adding the egg and blend on a medium speed
Once egg is mixed well add the thickened cream and keep blending gently until you reach a smooth paste like consistency.
Fill each tartlet shell with the cheese mixture and bake in the oven for 10 mins or until golden.
When cool sprinkle with a small amount of nutmeg on top of each tartlet and serve with a small dollop of the Beerenberg caramelised onion.
